People have asked us about the names: Annalise was named after her paternal Great-Grandmother, Ann (who was originally named Anna), and her maternal Grandmother, Lisa. As for Zayn, we just liked the name.

Roang is the generational name as listed in Amy's Dad's Family Tree book, which dictates Chinese names for each future generation. Guang-Roang is named after his maternal Grandfather, Zuo-Guang, and it means "honor". Ba suggested Xing-Roang, among other names, and we liked the sound of it. Her name means "beautiful".
