Annalise and Zayn are two weeks old today (This photo was taken at exactly 2pm, with Zayn on the left and Annalise on the right).
TWO WEEKS. It feels like it has been longer than two weeks. Soon, I am sure we will feel like the days have have somehow turned into months and the months have turned into years....but for now, every day is still novel and time has slowed down. And we're enjoying it (as bleary-eyed as Jim was, heading off to work this morning with only 2 hours of sleep under his belt).
Our two week pediatrician's appointment was also today and the babies made me a proud Mamma. They are both back to their original birth weight, which is all I was hoping for. Hooray! Also, Annalise grew half an inch and Zayn grew a whopping 2 inches since birth! Here are the stats, for those who care:
Annalise: 5lbs 8oz, 19.5 in long, 34cm head circumference
Zayn: 5lbs 6oz, 19 in long, 33.5 cm head circumference
