My Dad's wife, Jennifer, has been here for the past month, helping me "do the month." She was amazing help with the babies and we'll all definitely be feeling her absence. Thank you!!

Medical Misadventure

Annalise had a little accident involving the couch, the floor, and her poor head. Everything seemed fine (and was!), but her Dr. thought it'd be best to have everything checked out, just in case. So she had her first x-rays at 4 1/2 weeks. Having to hold her head face down while the x-ray tech ran to hit the button was the hardest part of the day. On a bright note, it was my first solo adventure out of the house (albeit with only one baby in tow!)

Milestones

Zayn and Annalise are 4 weeks old! We have been (mostly) abiding by the Chinese belief of "doing the month" where Mom and Babies stay at home during the first month so everyone can heal and be healthy...we celebrated the 4 week mark by going on a walk (finally!) and we also had our first lunch outing (plus pedicures for the ladies!) Shockingly (and luckily), the babies slept the entire time.

We have been so spoiled to have so much help, especially from the Grandparents. Grandma and Grandpa were here for a week and will be back this summer - Yay!

The Sprouts are Growing

Grandma Ginny and I brought the babies to the Dr.'s office today for a weigh-in. At three weeks of age, Annalise (left) is now 6 lbs 5oz and Zayn (right) is 6lbs 2oz! I've been wanting them to gain weight for health purposes, but at this rate, I'll be wishing they stop growing so fast, so soon. Sniff, sniff.
